Charles Chibueze Chukwu, aka Crayon, a recent signee to Don Jazzy, described how he wrote the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) five times without being admitted.
The fast-growing singer revealed this in an interview called “Rubbin’Minds” on Channels TV.
Crayon stated that he took the JAMB exam on his fifth attempt after failing the first two and passing the final three, but that he was still unable to gain admission.
Because of my years of hard work, Crayon said: “It has been great and beautiful to witness because I am now finally getting the attention that I deserve. “Therefore, it is lovely to see among my fans, team, and everyone who is familiar with me.
“I started making music like 2016 officially. I wasn’t in school then but trying to get into the university. I wrote JAMB five times.
“For the first two times, I failed; the rest three times, I passed. I kept going to the school to lay complaints and ask: ‘What’s up?’ It wasn’t just happening for me. I feel like it was God’s way of redirecting me.”
