Amber Heard denied having an affair with the billionaire capitalist Elon Musk on Tuesday when she gave evidence in the high-profile London libel case by ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Depp, 57, had accused the 34-year-old actress of liaison with the creator of Tesla and SpaceX and Hollywood star James Franco during their stormy marriage of two years.
But she dismissed the claims by giving evidence, particularly dismissing suggestions Musk visited her regularly at night from March 2015, not long after the couple wed.
“I wasn’t even in contact with Elon until 2016,” she told the High Court in London on the witness stand on her second day.
Depp, the star of the franchise “The Caribbean Pirates,” sues British newspaper The Sun and the publisher of an article in 2018 claiming to be a “wife-beater.”
He retains it damaging his image seriously.
Depp ‘s wife, Eleanor Laws, read out a text message sent by Musk in 2016 that provides Heard defense against Depp after an alleged dispute between the couple.
“The offer will stand, even though you never wanted to see me again …… sorry to be a fool anyway,” he wrote.
“The silence on the radio does a lot of damage. It just matters because I like you so much.
